Opened: February 2005
Name: I chose the name "Sweet-Redemption" because my faith is a huge part of my life, and redemption is a major part of the Catholic faith. I also just love the sound of the word. "Sweet" just sounded like a good word to go with it, and redemption is sweet anyway.
Hosted: S-R.net is hosted by the ever-awesome DreamHost.com.
History: S-R.net is the successor to my first personal domain, EndlessDreams.net, which opened in January 2003. In February 2004, I moved some of the visitor content - the Photoshop brushes and tutorials - to a new domain I bought to house those items along with my digital art, Muse-Driven.com. A few months later, I moved the LiveJournal icons, which I had been posting in the visitor section of ED.net, to a LiveJournal account especially for my icons, How Iconic. Around the same time, I got really busy. Updates at ED.net got fewer and farther between. Finally, I put the site on hiatus because I wasn't sure what exactly I wanted to do with it, and wanted to clear up some space on my domain while I decided. Finally I decided to turn ED.net into a collective of sorts, since all the good visitor content was at M-D.com and my icon journal already anyway. I also decided to close my blog, December Roses, and merge it with ED.net, since I use my friends-only LiveJournal far more often than my blog anyway. S-R.net will serve the same function as ED.net did. It also gives me a place to host my website projects that aren't art-related.
